    • you should have a death certificate of the deceased father.
then you have to get a declaration regarding the legal heirs of the deceased from civil court in Pakistan.
then you shuld get transfer the property on the names of the legal heirs of the deceased.
the all proceedings will be done in Pakistan, UK solicitor has nothing to do with it

      • what about the power of attorney that our family are talking about? they say you have to take all four of us siblings to the solicitors who will give power of attorney to my brother to transfer all property to his name and my mothers. this is property my father has bought.
my elder brother wants my fathers share in the ancestral land in our village which was our grandfathers will he need power of attorney from us siblings.
what if they ask in pakistan for a power of attorney?

        • as i already replies fist of all the properties of the deceased will be transferred on the names of you all siblings and mother. then you may give power of attorney to any one for transfer of property on the name of brother and mother.according to me you can’t give the power of attorney of any property because yet the property in not devolved on on the name of the legal heirs. yet the property is on the name of the deceased.
